Mumbai, May 11, 2018: Bayer is one of India’s Best Employers in 2018 as per a study conducted by Aon, a global research consultancy. The Best Employer Awards were announced in a high profile ceremony held by Aon in Mumbai, last evening. The winners for 2018 included 19 organisations that empower results through high employee engagement, a compelling employer brand, effective leadership and a high performance culture. This is Bayer’s second consecutive win at the Aon Best Employers Awards.
“Bayer is proud to be recognized yet again as a ‘Best Employer’ in India. This recognition is based on the views shared by employees in an independent survey conducted by Aon. It’s a testimony of our employees’ strong belief in Bayer as a great workplace that enhances career growth. Bayer’s corporate culture is characterized by diversity, customer focus, experimentation and trustful collaboration. We believe in the unique ability, creativity and commitment that each employee brings with them. At Bayer, we hone this further by inculcating in employees the ‘Passion to Innovate’ and the ‘Power to Change’. This employer brand promise of Bayer plays a large part in ensuring employee well-being and satisfaction,” said Richard van der Merwe, Senior Bayer Representative South Asia. The Aon Best Employers program is the one of the most comprehensive studies of its kind in Asia Pacific. Launched in 2001, the study aims to get insights into companies that are creating real competitive advantage through their people and explore what makes a company a workplace of choice as a Best Employer. About 125 companies from 10 industries representing almost 329,000 employees were scrutinized as part of the Aon’s Best Employers India 2018 study. The study methodology involved a rigorous process, conducted over a nine-month period that culminated in the list of Best Employers decided by an external panel of independent jury.
