Tamaron Gold is an Acephate based organophosphate systemic insecticide which controls chewing and sucking pests of cotton and safflower. When tank-mixed with CNI or synthetic pyrethroid, due to its synergistic action, it can control insect pest complexes of sucking and chewing type of insect damage.

Mode of Action :

Tamaron Gold is systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. It is cholinesterase inhibitor and disrupts nerve impulse transmission by acting in synaptic regions. Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC) Classification No. 1 B

Advantages :

  • Widely used insecticide in India for the control of sucking pests in various crops like cotton and safflower.
  • Also gives excellent control of difficult pests like Heliothis armigera in cotton, when used as tank-mix partners.
  • Good compatibility with new chemistries and synthetic pyrethroid insecticides resulting in marked synergistic action.
