Simon Wiebusch is the Country Divisional Head for the Crop Science Division of Bayer in India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka (IBSL). In addition to this, he was appointed as the Vice Chairman, MD & CEO of Bayer CropScience Ltd (BCSL) on November 01, 2023.Simon started his career with Bayer in 1998 based at the company’s headquarters in Germany. He built his professional experience by working across various functions such as Sales Support, Operations, Tender Management, Controlling, and Strategy, within Germany, Eastern Europe, and Asia. He went on to become the Chief Executive Officer for Bayer’s Crop Science Division in South East Asia, based in Bangkok, Thailand, and eventually took over his current role in India.
Shweta Rai was appointed Managing Director, India and Country Division Head, South Asia for Bayer’s Pharmaceutical Division on January 01, 2024. She has been associated with the organization since 2019 and her previous role was Business Unit Head for Diabetes Care.Shweta has over 22 years of experience across the pharmaceuticals and medical device sectors, having worked with organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, MSD Pharmaceuticals, IQVIA, and Pfizer. Her expertise extends across a myriad of therapy areas, including Cardiology, Diabetes, Women’s Health Care, Immunology, Virology, Anti-infectives, Vaccines, Neurology, Orthopedics and Pain Management.
Sandeep Verma is the Cluster Head of South Asia for Bayer’s Consumer Health Division. He joined as the Country Head for Bayer’s Consumer Health Division in India in November 2019. His role was expanded to include Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, in April 2024, and Pakistan in April 2025.Sandeep has over 20 years of experience working in the FMCG industry. Before joining Bayer, he served as the President of Bajaj Consumer Care. He previously held the role of Global Marketing Director at Unilever. His roles spanned across Sales, Brand Management, Category Management and various P&L stints handling multiple brands across the globe.
