Mumbai, November 03, 2026: Bayer CropScience Limited (BSE: 506285) announced today its unaudited results for the quarter (Q2) and half year (H1) ended September 30, 2026.
For Q2 ended September 30, 2026, Bayer CropScience Limited (BCSL) registered Revenue from Operations of ₹12,507 million as compared to ₹15,534 million in the corresponding period of FY 2025-26, a decline of 19%. Profit Before Tax stood at ₹2,114 million, compared to ₹2,003 million in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, an increase of 6%.
For the H1 ended September 30, 2026, BCSL reported Revenue from Operations of ₹30,857 million compared to ₹34,680 million for the corresponding period in FY 2025-26, a decline of 11%. Profit Before Tax for the H1 ended September 30, 2026, stood at ₹6,135 million, compared to ₹5,355 million for the corresponding period in FY 2025-26, an increase of 15%.
Commenting on the quarterly results, Simon Wiebusch, Vice Chairman & Managing Director and CEO, BCSL, said, “Q2 reflected a challenging operating environment, with an uneven monsoon affecting sowing patterns and crop protection demand, alongside lower corn acreages. Against this backdrop, we remained focused on disciplined execution, strengthening our portfolio and scaling new innovations. As Indian agriculture navigates increasing volatility, our priority is to help farmers improve productivity and resilience by bringing together innovations and partnerships across the agricultural ecosystem, while building a stronger and more sustainable business for the long term.”
Vinit Jindal, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Bayer CropScience Limited, added, “Profit After Tax increased by 9% in Q2 and 13% in H1, supported by improved gross margins reflecting favourable production yields for corn seeds and cost efficiencies. Higher corn seed production volumes, combined with weaker market demand, resulted in increased inventory. Market liquidity pressures led to delayed collections and marginally higher receivables. We remain focused on disciplined working capital management and strengthening cash generation.”
The Board of Directors at its meeting held on November 03, 2026, declared an interim dividend of ₹ 90/- per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2027, amounting to ₹ 4,045 million.
