Our Commitment to Society
At Bayer, we strive to contribute to a world where everyone has access to sufficient food and the opportunity to live a healthy life. Guided by our vision — “Health for all, Hunger for none” — we support social projects through charitable partners to drive meaningful societal change.
In India, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is anchored on three pillars: Improving Lives, Sustainable Development, and Partnerships. Over the last five years, our initiatives have positively impacted more than 4 million people across the country.
Our CSR efforts are aligned with Bayer’s global objectives and are designed to promote progress by addressing the root causes of social challenges. By focusing on food security, healthcare accessibility, and sustainability, we aim to create lasting impact and make the world more equitable.
We believe in the transformative power of innovation — especially when it empowers women, improves access to health and nutrition, strengthens rural livelihoods, and unlocks opportunities for underserved communities. Our goal is to improve quality of life by delivering impactful, scalable solutions for preventive health care and food security.
Our initiatives focus on four key thematic areas:
- Preventive Health Care
- Nutritional Security
- Water Conservation and Management
- Rural Development
We focus our work on aspirational districts — regions with low prosperity indicators, limited access to infrastructure, and fewer opportunities for technology, resources, and new skills. By prioritizing women and children in these underserved areas, we aim to drive sustainable change where it is needed most.
Our programs are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), addressing critical issues including nutrition, healthcare, gender equality, and water access. Through these efforts, we remain committed to fostering inclusive, resilient, and thriving communities across India.
